פסטיבל אבירי ירושלים 2024

ב-3.10 נכחנו, כמו כל שנה מאז היווסדנו, בפסטיבל אבירי ירושלים. כמו תמיד, הפסטיבל הוא אירוע שאנחנו מצפים לו כל השנה – מפגש של מועדונים, סייפים וחברים, ואפשרות להציג את תחום אומנויות הלחימה ההיסטוריות לקהל המבקרים.

השנה הפסטיבל כמעט והתבטל, אחרי מתקפה קשה על ישראל, אבל ברגע האחרון ממש אושר לקיימו, ולא היו מאושרים מאיתנו! הפסטיבל הוא משב רוח רענן בכל שנה, ובמיוחד בשנה הקשה שעברה על כולנו.

אז הגענו, נלחמנו, שתינו קצת בירה, אכלנו קצת פלוב, צחקנו וחזרנו עייפים ומרוצים. נרצה להודות לדניס זלטופולסקי ומיכאל מורגוליס שארגנו את האירוע והתמודדו עם חוסר-הוודאות, וכמובן לכל שאר באי ועובדי הפסטיבל.

On 3.10 we attended, just like every year since our establishment, the Knights of Jerusalem Festival. As always, the festival is an event that we wait for the whole year – a gathering of clubs, fencers and friends, and an opportunity to present HEMA to the public.

This year, the festival was almost cancelled, due to a massive attack on Israel, but at the very last moment it was allowed to be held, and we couldn’t have been happier! The festival is a breath of fresh air every year, and especially in a harsh one like we've all had.

So we arrived, fought, drank some beer, ate some plov, laughed and came back tired and content.

We’d like to thank Dennis Zlatopolsky and Michael Morgulis for organizing the event and dealing with the uncertainty involved, and of-course to all the festival workers and visitors.
